Looks like a Dasineura (a midge induced) gall - but not one I know

Galls were 8-10 mm across, on leaf stalks. I cut some open but they were empty.

there is a Chrysomelid - Leaf Beetle in the first shot which you can set up as an additional sighting. It is facing downwards and you can just see one antenna
