A group of these pigeons has been flying around our area over the last two or three weeks but this is the first time we've been able to photograph them. Bad photos sorry.
Nice one. Port Jackson figs are possibly the attraction. They turn up in Brogo pretty regularly in summer for the figs. Bit early now though I would have thought.
Thanks Jackie. We have rusty figs (rubiginosa) and we've been told they also like the seeds of the mock olive (Notelea), which grows in the wetter areas of the block. They've been passing through since early spring in ones and twos, but now they're staying around, so must have found something to eat.
