Hi Joy, Sorry it has taken so long for me to respond. This one is a weed unfortunately, and quite an invasive one at that. It spreads by underground runners so is impossible to dig out, and it seems to laugh off most herbicides. If you get small amounts of it, it is well worth trying to get rid of, but if it is well established, then best to just learn to appreciate the pretty flowers! It seems to mostly frequent ungrazed areas so I assume livestock might help control it a bit.
