Not a leptospermum - no fruit - Aust Native Plants group on Facebook has suggested Baeckea ramosissima which is also Euryomyrtus ramosissima - looks good to me

Fruit retention is not a defining characteristic of Leptospermum. L.brevipes for example is known to drop fruit after the seed has dispersed. Baeckea is certainly a possibility, I'll have another good look at this one.
