I suspect this is the first visual recording of hatching small ant blues

first signs of small dark hole seen at 1730. emerged at 1900.

Yes the new camera ( thanks to DPRees for help choosing). Old SLR Canon captured similar event last season.
Certainly had built up some steam cooped up though appeared to rest for minutes while munching escape hatch.
