Features that point to Eucalyptus goniocalyx subsp goniocalyx or E.nortonii: habitat, bark rough fibrous to smaller branches, fruit in 7s and sessile, cup shaped to cylindrical shaped fruit, fruit disc descending, juvenile leaves orbicular. Now it gets tricky. The foliage is more the colour for E.nortonii, being blue-grey green. So E.nortonii based on Dean Nicolle's latest descriptions for these two species.
