Tips of young leaves appear to be burnt or infected. Extreme rainfall then very strong winds probably not helping.

(Yeah this species grows into a tree, not merely a shrub per se) .
Will get it moved category (from 'Other Shrubs') in due course when we group all rainforest trees.
